ASHTONES au Schafereï, Schaffhausen, Suisse.
Feb. 23, Longest road of the tour: we leave Köln to join Schaffhausen, Swizerland. We have a show in a bar called Schafereï. At first sight,I didn't want to go to Swizerland because of customs and because of the highway tax. I was wrong. First we avoid the custom. Second,Schafereï was the goodest surprise of the tour. Nancy and his boyfriend, promoters are the nicest people we met on the road and we feel really welcome there. beginning of the evening there is a lot of skinheads in the place: do they know what kind of degenerated rock'n roll we do? Yes,they are only rock'n roll lovers and a good hot audience. I'm so sick that I have to rest a bit at the hôtel room just before the show, but I shall feel ok for the show. We'll do a totally mad show jumping all around (one of the best show ever in Schafereï in promoter's words). Ripper will do his best to charm the barmaid and get a lot of free drinks: Jägermeister is running down our blood.. He will be the last to be back at Hôtel looking to empty glasses of everything and helping maybe to clean the bar after the rock'n roll tsunami. In Schaffhausen,there's only one gig a month but they really enjoy rock'n roll and make bands feel welcome.
