ASHTONES au Freak Out Club, Bologne, Italie.
Feb. 25 Bologna, Freak-Out Club, 2nd italian gig and nevertheless stains of snow, we finally find the sun. The "schlongo" seems a bit lost, because of the snow I guess. Since we're in Italy, we have to deal with a strange kind of people we'd call the "finocchios". Hope you'll understand what are finocchios, but you have just to know it doesn't help with the schlong. Freak-out is an uneasy to find nice club (you have to cross the road under a tunnel,then look door to door for the number, but we have time to look for). Anyway, we go to supermarket and buy a few drinks. I found a dangerous strawberry-vodka mix at 25°: smooth and dangerous. Time of the show I'll empty the bottle and at the end I'm completely deaf and dumb. Shame on me, it's the first time I'm unable to pack the backline at the end of the show. I don't really remember what the fuck happens but when I'll be awake at Gian-Luca's flat,my liver hurts a lot. The show is quite good but is a rough copy of our set-list. 2nd day in Italy and 2nd day with a small audience (only a fistful of friends from Bologna met 3 years earlier are there: thanks to Tony from the Titbits and to Yuri from Antares..), but the venue deserves a bigger audience and I crack a bit (first time I'm drunk at the end of a show), Bologna: SHAME ON ME !!! finocchios are going to kill us and it's only the beginning..
